Australia's Natural Features Project

Think about all the beautiful places in Australia, maybe you have visited a special place, maybe it is somewhere you want to go.

Choose a natural feature to create an information report on. Use the questions below to help guide your research. Then choose a way to present your information.

Things to include in your project:

1. Location - state and nearest town. Include a map and show location with a label

2. Landform - describe the environment and natural feature - rainforest or rock type.

3.Significance - what makes this place special that people want to visit it?

4. Uses - what do people do there? what connections do humans have with the place?

5. Significant flora and fauna -  what are some of the special plants and animals that live there?

6. Aboriginal Connections - what Indigenous group is connected to the place? are there special stories that connect people to Country?

7. Land Care - what can we do to protect the special place?

8. Interesting facts - add any interesting facts about the natural feature.

Presentation

There are so many ways that you could present your project:

* make a travel brochure or book
* on cardboard - big poster
* PowerPoint
* Documentary - video record yourself!
