Dear Year 2 Students,
Try to create a quiet and comfortable learning space, near your family. We would like you to try to work for 1 hour 30 minutes a day on the literacy and numeracy activities.
While you are learning at home, we encourage you to keep a learning journal. This could be written in your homework book, on any paper or made using MS Word or PowerPoint.
Your learning journal could include a list of experiences from the day such as drawing, reading, writing, play, cooking, exercising, or researching.

Dear Parents/Carers
I hope you are all well and staying safe at this time. I have handpicked a range of tasks that kids can do independently or with assistance.
This pack includes resources covering the key learning areas of English and Maths as well as other areas including Religion, PD/H/PE, Science, Creative Arts and History. This will provide you with a wide range of activities to share with your chid while school is closed. All activities are age appropriate and most will relate to work that your child has experienced in the classroom. The activities can be completed in any order.
An exercise book has been sent home and students are welcome and encouraged to use this.
The booklet, grid as well as online options are designed to last for two weeks. Please do not feel overwhelmed by the amount of set tasks as they are only a guide. If you have any questions regarding any of the tasks please contact me through the St Joseph’s Wingham administration email at [email protected]. Please address the email to me.
Warm Regards,
Mark Knoke
